Home Support:

Our Home Support Program aims to support seniors to stay at home for as long as possible, by providing light housekeeping and laundry services. Home Support workers are screened for criminal record check and have their first aid certification. The fees for seniors in the community and surrounding area are calculated on a sliding scale, according to income.

Transportation:

Reliable transportation is vital for seniors to access medical appointments, grocery stores, and social connections. By donating to our transportation program, you help provide affordable rides that keep seniors mobile and engaged in their community. Our transportation is low cost for seniors in the community and surrounding area.

Events and Activities:

Kootenay Seniors is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of older adults by promoting active, healthy aging. . From workshops, exercise classes to art sessions and social meals, your donation helps create opportunities for connection, learning, and joy. Most of these services are free for seniors in our community and surrounding area.
