Looking for employment as a light housekeeper?
The Kootenay Seniors Light Housekeeping Program aims to support seniors to stay at home for as long as possible, by providing light housekeeping and laundry services. All workers have criminal record checks. The fees for seniors are calculated on a sliding scale, according to income. Services are available from Monday – Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. statutory holidays excluded.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Volunteer Driver Program – Increasing Mobility While Decreasing Isolation
- Customized, low-cost transportation option for seniors in the West Kootenay
- Medical and non-medical rides and/or deliveries 7 days/week
- Rides and deliveries must be booked in advance, Monday to Friday through Kootenay Seniors
- Delivery of groceries, prescriptions and other essentials

Volunteer drivers with 3 years minimum driving experience and access to a clean, reliable vehicle. Criminal record check and drivers abstract will be done at no cost to you. We provide reimbursement for our drivers.
