DESCRIPTION:Nelson Committee on Homelessness hosts Community Connect Day each November\, as winter approaches. This year’s Community Connect Day is on Saturday\, November 23 at Central School Gym in Nelson (corner of Ward and Mill Streets)\, open to guests from 10am – 3pm.\nCommunity Connect Day provides an opportunity for individuals and families who are struggling to make ends meet access winter boots and coats\, health care services (such as dental\, vision\, and foot care)\, information/resources from local agencies\, delicious food\, and just have some fun together. There is also a photo studio again this year\, and Kutenai Art Therapy Institute will be doing an ‘experiential art activity’. Should be a fun day!
