Nelson CARES’ Age Friendly Community Initiative is excited to announce that we’ve moved a big step closer to making Nelson a more “age-friendly” community. The Initiative conducted an age friendly community assessment in 2016 in partnership with the City of Nelson. The Action Plan emerging from that work has now been formally endorsed by Nelson City Council.
