A Touch of Bliss – Eldercare Massage
Eldercare Massage, also called Geriatric or Senior Massage is designed to accommodate the specific needs of an elderly body. Eldercare Massage uses gentle relaxation techniques to soothe seniors aching muscles, tendons and joints, while positioned in an ergonomically designed chair, a wheelchair or mobility device. The massage can be anywhere from 20 minutes to one hour. It may include a foot massage. Karen offers a senior’s discount as well as a discount for very low income residents.
The practitioner, Karen Arnold, has taken special training in Eldercare Massage with BC Eldercare Massage™. The Certification Program is recognized by many professional associations.
Karen is available at her downtown studio at The Community First Health Co-op Monday-Friday. She is also available to come to your retirement residence for group bookings. There is a minimum booking of two hours required. Each person may receive a 10 minute-20 minute hand, foot or chair massage. Call Karen at 250-505-4550 for a free consultation/trial.
