The Nelson CARES Society and the Nelson Civic Theatre Society invited our communities to enter an online contest by submitting a 3-5 minute video that tells a compelling story about their hopes for our post-pandemic world.

Connecting Generations Video Contest aimed to bring awareness to the similarities of emotions and thoughts felt by all ages in the Kootenay region regarding COVID-19. It provided a way for multiple generations to connect with each other through film and digital media.
